How to use the Dryer

  1. Ensure that it is clean and nothing is left inside the drum.
  2. Load your laundry and close the door
  3. Insert the coins slowly and press the "Upper" or "Lower" button.
  4. Remove your laundry when it is finished.

※ There may be different insertion slots for the upper and lower dryers.
Ensure to insert the coin to the right one.

Cautions

- If you wish to dry more after competing one cycle, add the coins and press the start button.
(There may be different insertion slots for the upper and lower dryers.)
- Please refrain from drying the rubber materials in the dryer as they might melt down.
- Please refrain from drying the string and metal fitting as they might tangle with the drum.

Allergy countermeasure

Getting rid of the mites that cause allergies.
Killing the mites would require 50 deg C or higher and expose for 20 minutes.
Thus, it is impossible to kill them by the rays of the Sun, because the temperature rises around 40 to 45 degrees Celsius on sunny days.
Sun bathing your futon mattress on your balcony might be effective to remove moisture and create an environment that is difficult for the mites to breed more.
WASHHOUSE can offer the Dryer that is the right temperature, at 70 deg C, to kill them and not to damage your precious mattress.
The cause of the allergen is "carcass and feces of mite"
The mite carcasses and feces would decay into pieces when they are dried.
The ideal solution would be removing all the pieces by vacuum cleaner after they are dried, but it was not possible.
WASHHOUSE Dryers have similar mechanism of a vacuum cleaner, so it removes these unwanted pieces by drying them.

Common troubles

I mistakenly pressed the Upper / Lower buttons of the double- stack dryer
Firstly, keep yourself calm, then slightly open the door of the dryer which started to drying
Ensure that it has stopped rotating, then you are safe to open the door and load your wet laundry.
My clothes feel still a bit dump after finished drying

Frequently asked questions on the dryer

Q: Can I dry my duvet / comforter?
A: You can dry the down and cotton duvet.
However, you cannot dry "Dryer prohibited" or "Tumbler dry prohibited" on the laundry label.

Q: Is there anything that cannot be dried?
A: You can not dry the delicate materials such as wool, leather, beads and embroidery.
Damaged or frayed fabric should be dried with extra care as the drying may cause further damage or fraying.
Due to hygiene concerns, diapers and pet products cannot be dried.

A: Drying would stop temporary when you open the door.
Then you can load your wet laundry into the dryer of which you pressed the button.
